Bakersfield Police said detectives served a search warrant on an illegal gambling casino in east Bakersfield Thursday.
Officials said the initially responded to investigate a sexual assault that happened at the casino.
Around 5:30 p.m. they executed the search warrant on the casino where they found numerous gaming machines which had 38 illegal gaming stations, police said.
The gaming machines were seized and the casino was closed.
The investigation into the alleged sexual and illegal casino is ongoing.
