Bakersfield Police Department serves search warrant at illegal gaming casino in Central Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A search warrant at an illegal gaming facility in Central Bakersfield led police to more than $1,000 in cash and the arrest of seven people.

According to officials, around 8 p.m. Thursday March 5, officers from the Bakersfield Police Department executed a search warrant at 3415 K Street.

Officials said during the execution of the warrant a large “fish” gaming table was seized, along with 14 modems and over $1,000 in cash.

David Mooney, 51, and Joanne Alvarez, 37, were arrested for outstanding felony arrest warrant and resisting arrest.

Luciano Delgado, 20, was arrested for resisting arrest. The three of them were transported and booked into the Kern County jail.

Ronald Curtis, 44; Daniel Tweedy, 38; Eva Alvarez, 39; and Ida Maynor, 32; were arrested for outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrants. They were cited and released.
