The Bakersfield Police Department has identified a suspect in an east Bakersfield shooting that happened earlier this week. 

Officials said they are looking for Calvin Bahar, 20, in connection to the shooting. 

On Wednesday, November 29th, officers responded to a shooting around 4:30 in the afternoon near Alta Vista Drive and Monterey Street. 

Officers found an adult man suffering from minor to moderate gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition. 

Police said Bahar is described as a black man, 5' 11", 140 pounds, short black hair, brown eyes, and has a nickname of "Cowboy".

A warrant for Bahar's arrest has been issued for attempted murder and participation in a criminal street gang. Anyone
