Bakersfield Police say a man is fighting for his life after a shooting Monday night. 

BPD says they responded to the 5000 block of Hunter Ave around 11:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting. There they found a man with a single gunshot wound to the head. BPD says that man was taken to the hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
