A crash led to police to a victim of a stabbing. 

Around 5:30 Sunday morning, the California Highway Patrol was called to a car crash on Amador Avenue near Belle Terrance and Union Ave. 

The CHP officer found a victim with stab wounds to the head. 

The victim was taken to Kern Medical with moderate to major injuries. 

Officials determined the stabbing happened outside of The Syndicate Lounge on 19th and Eye St. in downtown Bakersfield. 

Officers found a crime scene, but have no suspect information at this point.
