BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured one man in Central Bakersfield Sunday evening.
According to BPD, officers responded to a shotspotter activation at about 4:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Chester Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a man with major injuries.
He was transported to a local hospital where he is now in critical, but stable condition.
There is no suspect information at this time, according to BPD.
