BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Bakersfield police found an unresponsive woman at around 11:04 p.m. Monday night near Union Avenue and V Street.

She was declared dead at the scene.

The identity and cause of death have not been released at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
