The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for a suspect in connection to a burglary that took place on Tuesday.
At 9:43 a.m. officers were called to Hempstead Lane for a report of a residential burglary. When they arrived they were able to confirm a burglary had in fact occurred.
Officers said they saw the suspect run away and was allegedly a black male in his 20's.
They have set up a perimeter in the neighborhood.
It is unknown if the suspect is armed or if people were inside of the home at the time of the burglary.
