Bakersfield Police looking for man who reportedly sexually assaulted girl walking home from school

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police have released a composite of a man wanted for kidnapping and child molestation of an elementary school-aged girl in Southwest Bakersfield.

According to officials, on Monday around 2:40 p.m., the girl was walking home from school in the area 2700 Hollyhock Lane when the suspect allegedly grabbed and sexually assaulted her.

BPD is describing him as a Hispanic male, in his 40s, around 5’6” tall, 200 lbs, with a lazy or droopy right eye, beard. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a dirty white long sleeve shirt, pajama style pants, and a key lanyard around his neck with a single key, according to officials.
