Bakersfield Police looking for parking enforcement technician

Anyone looking to get into a career in law enforcement can look toward the Bakersfield Police Department.

The Bakersfield Police Department is now accepting applications for a parking enforcement technician.

According to the BPD's website, applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or a GED, must be at least 18 years old, must have a valid California Class C driver's license, must have a valid state first aid card and must be able to pass a background check.

Salary ranges from about $37,000 a year to about $44,000 a year.

The closing date for the position is March 21.
