Bakersfield Police looking for suspect involved in felony vandalism and petty theft

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police are asking for assistance identifying a suspect responsible for petty theft and felony vandalism.

According to police, the incident happened at approximately 9 p.m. on November 26 where the suspect was caught on surveillance video stealing money from coin-operated machines inside the Thrifty Wash Plus on Columbus Street. In the commission of the theft, the suspect also caused major damage to several machines.

He is described as a Hispanic man between 30 and 35 years old with short black hair and a mustache. He was wearing a blue sweater, black shorts, black shorts, black socks and black shoes.
