Bakersfield Police looking for suspect involved in a strong-arm robbery at Best Buy

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE:

Bakersfield Police have identified 24-year-old Matthew Torres and 34-year-old Maricela Ramirez as the two suspects.

Officials said they it was determined that Torres is in custody at the Kern County Jail Lerdo Facility for separate firearm and theft related charges on August 23.

BPD said it is still looking for Ramirez.

The Bakersfield Police Department said it is searching for two suspects wanted for a strong-arm robbery at Best Buy on Rosedale Highway.

According to officials, the robbery happened on August 20 around 1:30 p.m..

BPD has released the following suspects descriptions:

Suspect #1: Hispanic male, 25-30, 5'7", 150-160 lbs, short black hair, with a black goatee, wearing a black baseball hat, white t-shirt, black shorts, and red shoes, with tattoos on right arm/forearm and neck.

Suspect #2: White/Hispanic female, ,30-35, 5'5", 145 lbs, dirty collar length blonde hair shaved on left side, wearing sunglasses, purple tank top, gold necklace, with leopard tattoos on right arm/shoulder, star tattoo on left chest, and additional tattoos on left arm.
