The Bakersfield Police Department says multiple threats coming from people in clown masks are not credible.

BPD says local residents have reported seeing the threats on social media, including some that threatened violence at local schools.

However, BPD says it's investigated the threats and has found that "there does not appear to be any credible threat to public safety at this time."
