Bakersfield Police make 11th arrest in Remington Avenue shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department has arrested one of the suspects at large for the alleged shootout after a party in Southwest Bakersfield.

According to officials, 27-year-old Antwon Donimic Ginn was arrested Sunday night for gang participation and destroying and concealing evidence. He was wanted following the shooting on Remington Avenue on August 17.

Bakersfield police said they responded to reports of shots fired. During their investigation authorities found more than 60 bullet casings from various calibers.

Eleven suspects have been arrested but police said they're still looking for five additional suspects.

Ginn is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
