BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department has teamed up with the Kern County Auto Theft Taskforce and National Crime Insurance Bureau to offer a limited number of auto theft deterrent devices for select drivers.

BPD says they will give out "The Club” to registered owners of the following vehicles manufactured between 1995-2005:

• Honda Accord

• Honda Civic

• Acura Integra

• Chevrolet Silverado

• GMC Sierra

If interested, drivers can pick up the devices at 1601 Truxtun Avenue. You'll need to provide a copy of your car's valid registration, California drivers license and ID.
