BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for a car that was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Saturday.

According to the BPD, a woman was walking in the eastbound lane of 23rd Street at around 11 p.m. when she was struck by a car. The car failed to stop and fled the scene.

The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and is listed in critical condition.

The car was described as a Mazda RX7 or Honda S2000.
