Bakersfield Police searching for suspect connected to multiple car burglaries, thefts in East Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department said it is searching for a man accused of using multiple credit cards linked to burglaries and thefts from unlocked vehicles in East Bakersfield.

According to officials, the burglaries happened between September 20 to 21 in the late evening or early morning hours. Bakersfield Police said the the suspect(s) burglarized multiple apartments at 2501 Bernard Street, while the victims were sleeping.

The suspect pictured reportedly attempted to use credit cards taken during the burglaries at a convenience store shortly after BPD learned about the crimes.
