UPDATE (Dec. 28, 2016, 2:15 p.m.): According to Sergeant Gary Carruesco, the Bakersfield Police Department has arrested a suspect related to yesterday's bank robbery at the Bank of America on California Avenue.
36-year-old Tony Henry was discovered at the EZ-8 Motel on Buck Owens Boulevard with evidence linking him to the crime and was subsequently arrested.
Henry was transported to the Kern County Jail on a charge of armed robbery.

Bakersfield police are looking for a black male in his thirties wearing all black clothing and a black hat after reports of a man with a gun in his waistband at Bank of America on California Avenue, right off Mohawk.
The suspect then took off in a waiting getaway car after the robbery.
There were no reported injuries.
The suspect is described as around 6 feet tall with a thin build and beard.
