Bakersfield police searching for suspect who threw bottles at officers and vandalized department

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's help in identifying a suspect accused of throwing bottles at officers, during a protest in Downtown Bakersfield Saturday evening.

According to BPD, the suspect allegedly vandalized the police department by removing the letter "E" from the front of the building.

Police describe the supsect as a Black man in his mid 20's with braided hair that's shoulder length, who was seen wearing a black shirt and long black shorts.
