Bakersfield Police are searching for a suspect wanted for stealing a tailgate in northwest Bakersfield.

BPD says that on Sunday, April 15 at about 6 a.m., the suspect detached and stole a tailgate from a truck parked in the 12000 block of Cedar Bluff Avenue.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a Black Ford Fusion or similar style sedan. The car also has noticeable damage to the front side passenger door.
