The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance identifying and locating two suspects wanted for brandishing a firearm. On December 28, 2015 at about 11:55 p.m., loss prevention officers from Wal-Mart, 5075 Gosford Rd., attempted to contact two people they suspected were shoplifting from the store. As they followed the suspects into the parking lot, one of the suspects retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and brandished it at the loss prevention officer. The suspects then fled in the suspect vehicle.
Suspect #1: Hispanic male adult, 6’0”, 220 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, moustache, brown jacket, flannel shirt and carpenter pants
Suspect #2: Hispanic male, late 30’s, 5’7”, 140 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, thin moustache, dark grey hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans
Suspect Vehicle: 90’s 4-door sedan, gold in color and black paper plates
