Bakersfield police searching for woman who robbed Foodmaxx then ran over person in parking lot

On November 9, 2016, around 7:40 p.m., a suspect entered the Foodmaxx at 6300 White Lane and attempted to steal items.

When confronted, she fled and got into a vehicle. As she was leaving the parking lot, she struck a victim with her car, causing the victim to become trapped underneath. The victim suffered significant injuries during the incident but is expected to survive.

The suspect is described as a black female adult, slim build, light blue shirt, Capri style jeans and mid length black hair.

Her vehicle is described as a dark colored, late 1990s to early 2000s Ford Explorer.
