One Bakersfield resident was involved in a crash in Visalia on November 3.

The accident happened on Highway 43 north of Avenue 144 around 10:22 a.m.

50-year-old Ignacio Chavez of Bakersfield did not receive any injuries. A car traveling northbound hit Chavez’ car which was traveling southbound.

The driver of the other vehicle, 45-year-old John Lopez, was transported to the hospital with major injuries. The passenger also received minor injuries.
