BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield residents can shoot hoops again.

The city's Recreation and Parks Department has been given guidance from the Kern County Department of Public Health.

The department has started re-installing hoops on half courts around the city.

And state guidelines allow for families and small groups to play on the courts.

So far, four hoops have been re-installed at city-operated parks.
