The Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House is hosting an ultra-marathon, dubbed '135 to the House.'
The run is 135 miles, starting at the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House and ending at the Madera Ronald McDonald House. Runners have the option of running solo or running as part of a relay team.
The funds raised by these runners benefit the Ronald McDonald house, which provides a 'home away from home' for families of children undergoing treatment at Kern County Pediatric or families of NICU patients.
