Bakersfield Solo Run allows runners to compete remotely

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — There are usually plenty of runs this time year, but the pandemic has changed that.

Competitive runners who are missing the sport have a chance to participate in the Bakersfield Solo Run, which allows runners to complete predesignated courses on their own schedule.

There are ten different routes to choose from ranging in length from 2 miles, to a half mile. Locations include Lake Ming and The Park at River Walk. Entry is $15.
