Bakersfield Together: Benefit for local Las Vegas shooting victims

UPDATE (Oct. 17 9:31 p.m.): Route 91 ribbons are still available for purchase even after the Bakersfield Together event held Wednesday night.

Route 91 ribbons directly benefit the families in Kern County who were affected by the Route 91 shooting. They are available for purchase here on Etsy. 

They are also available on Facebook here.

The ribbons are handmade to order.

Local radio stations from Bakersfield have come together to put on a benefit for local Las Vegas shooting victims. 

The benefit will be held at the Fox Theater today, Wednesday October 18, 2017 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

A $20 donation is being asked for at the door, but is not required.

There will be local musicians at the benefit, including Aaron Perlman, Stereo Citizen, and Truxtun Mike. 

Mayor Goh, Chief of Police Lyle Martin and more will be present at the event. 

The event will be put on by Kern County Law Enforcement.
