BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Officials at Bakersfield College say the main campus will be closed to students and the public on Thursday, August 22 for an all campus professional development day.

According to BC, the event will welcome new staff and provide information regarding accreditation, hear from constituent leaders and will include the State of the College.

The campus will re-open on Friday, August 23 from 8 a.m. to noon for the beginning of the fall 2019 semester. BC says that is a generic start date, and individual courses may have different start dates.
