BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield City School District announced on Wednesday that one if it's staff members has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement, the BCSD said the Ed Center had made them aware that a staff member had tested positive.
"Kern County Public Health is in the process of contact tracing and notifying anyone who may have been exposed," said the statement. "In addition, Human Resources is working to make contact with employees who may have been exposed."
The District office will be closed on June 25th for sanitizing. The office will resume business on June 29.
