Thursday night, Bakersfield City School District held its first Father Engagement Expo. Fathers and their children packed the district's auditorium.
BCSD says the goal of the event was for dads or father figures to learn more about the participation opportunities available to them at BCSD and to hear about how parent engagement can support their child's learning.
