BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — After reports that a new Bakersfield City School District campus would be built in the City In The Hills, 23ABC has learned that the district is planning on building another school in the near future.

Information obtained from a recent city council stated, “a local school district is in the process of acquiring a large parcel within the assessment district as the site of a future school.”

BCSD officials told 23ABC that they're looking at another site for a school in a few years."

They also said that the district is "always growing, so we’re always looking at options to expand."
