BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A fully-involved garage fire on 8th and N Street in Downtown Bakersfield has been 100% contained, according to Bakersfield Fire Department.
When crews initially arrived on the scene they found a garage that was detached from a home near a New City Cleaners building in flames.
According to BFD, the fire spread to the empty home and nearby trees.
BFD says the garage was considered a total loss.
Officials have not reported any injuries and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
