The Bakersfield Fire Department is holding a remembrance ceremony for the lives lost on 9/11. 

The ceremony will be held at the BFD 9/11 World Trade Center Memorial located on Buena Vista Road. Bakersfield Fire Chief Anthony Galagarza, Bakersfield Police Chief Lyle Martin, and Mayor Karen Goh are expected to speak.

The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11.
