The Bakersfield Fire Department rescued two people from the Kern River near the Park at River Walk on Monday afternoon.
According to the Bakersfield Fire Department's Facebook page, crews were called out to the area just after 1 p.m.
BFD says two people were found stranded mid-current in fast moving water. Two BFD rescue boats were sent in to get the people.
No one was hurt.
