A bicyclist was hit by a car on Tuesday in East Bakersfield.

The collision happened at about 10:15 p.m. at Monterey Street and Haley Street.

According to police, the victim was struck by a car and ejected from a bicycle. While the victim has not been identified, police said that they sustained minor injuries.

BPD and BFD currently have the intersection of Monterey and Haley blocked off.
