A big rig hauling oranges from Orange County to Florida went up in flames this morning on the 58 near Gen Beale Road closing one lane.

At this time it is unknown what caused the truck catch fire.

The driver is said to be out and walking around, it's unknown if he suffered any injuries. 

Kern County Fire is investigating as well as Environmental health, who is also on the scene.

According to KCFD, the lanes may be closed for a few hours until the big rig is cleared.
