The California Highway Patrol is responding to a crash near Meadows Field where a big rig carrying a tractor hit a bridge that also serves as the airport's runway.
According to the CHP, the big rig was hauling a tractor. That tractor hit the bridge.
Right now it's not known if anyone was injured or if there's any structural damage to the bridge.
As of right now there is no impact to air travel at this time. That runway on the bridge was already closed for construction so it was not in use and was already closed before the incident occurred.
At this time all lanes have re-opened.
