Early reports show that a big rig went up in flames due to a crash on the I-5 Northbound at Vista Del Lago Road. CHP reports the flames spread to a nearby hillside causing lanes to be closed while they tried to get the fire under control.

There is no word yet on if the fire has been contained or when the lanes will be reopened.

A SIGALERT has been reported for the area so you can expect delays if you're traveling through the area.
