UPDATE (June 6, 2017 11:57 p.m.): Norris Road has been reopened after a crash near Roberts Lane.

A crash involving a big rig in Oildale has shut down traffic in the area. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, a big rig collided with a car just before 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The CHP is reporting major injuries in the crash. 

The CHP says Norris Road is closed from Roberts Lane to Airport Drive. It's not known when lanes will open up.
