BAKERSFIELD, CA. — Bike Bakersfield will be having bike safety workshops every Monday in April.

The local nonprofit is focused on active and safe transportation in our community.

Each workshop is $10 and it will be dedicated to a different bike safety measure.

If you're interested in attending one of these workshops, here is a list of the schedule for April:

April 1st: Frame alignment, frame fit, greasing seat post and stern, and chain check.

April 8th: Servicing brakes and servicing shifters.

April 15th: Headset overhaul and bottom bracket overhaul.

April 22nd: Hub overhaul and wheel truing 101.
