Bike Your Park Day started Saturday at 8 a.m. It's an overnight biking and camping trip. Two campsites were reserved for the overnight camping trip at the Wind Wolves Preserve.
This was an event for everybody to attend, very family friendly. The group departed from Bike Bakersfield on Chester Ave.
To take part in the camping was free. However, if you wanted someone to carry your camping gear for you it would cost 20 dollars and if you wanted to take part in the communal meals prepared by the group that would cost 20 dollars as well.
