They're the guys that kept the field groomed game after game, the grounds crew at Sam Lynn ballpark.
The Blaze may been leaving because the stadium, but the small team in charge of the field says they put in long hours to always keep the field looking its best.
Even before the last game at the stadium, the crew prepped the field as they would any other day. They were out watering the grass, smoothing out the pitching mound, and engraving the phrase that has become tradition the last few weeks; #SamLynnForever.
The crew says they're still not sure how they'll feel when they don't have to come back and prep for another game but on Monday they said goodbye to the job they say they’ve loved so much.
