A body has been found inside a home following a fire in Central Bakersfield on Monday morning.

Bakersfield Fire and Bakersfield Police units were called to the scene at A Street and Chester Lane around 4:30 a.m. Monday.

Arson investigators tell 23ABC that a body was found inside the home.

It's not known what caused the fire.
