A Northeast Bakersfield middle school student was arrested this morning after a bomb threat.
The threat was found written in a bathroom stall at Paul L Cato Middle School, saying a bomb would go off at 11 a.m.
School staff called parents to let them know an evacuation might be needed.
But the school was not locked down as police determined the threat was not credible.
Bakersfield Police arrested a female student, charging her with causing a false emergency.
