BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to the California Highway Patrol website, both lanes of Highway 58 are closed just east of Interstate 5 at Brandt Road due to a crash.
The website shows that around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, two cars collided head-on. The website says there was one person in each car and as of 6:45, both are pin-ins. Medivac was called and landed just after 7 p.m.
At about 8:40 p.m., CHP posted to their website saying all lanes were back open.
