UPDATE: According to Caltrans, all lanes are now open. However, they are warning drivers to use caution when driving in the area as "residual" traffic clears.
Both lanes of Northbound 99 are shut down after a multi-vehicle crash north of Rosedale Highway on Tuesday morning.
According to Caltrans, the crash is involving a big rig.
BAKERSFIELD: Both lanes of Northbound SR 99 are currently blocked just north of Rosedale Highway due to a multi-vehicle collision involving a big rig. Tow trucks en route to remove vehicles. ETO approximately 8:20am.

Caltrans estimates the vehicles to be removed and the scene to be cleared at about 8:20 a.m.
