BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — This year was supposed to be the fifth year of the Southern Sierra Council's Distinguished Citizens Dinner, but because of the pandemic, it's going to be a little different this year.
This dinner has raised more than $350,000 in revenue to support the Kern County Boy Scouts.
This year they are asking that you join them on Dec. 3 to support scouting and honor dedicated scouting leaders with a dinner from Luigi's.
This meal serves four people and can be picked up at the Southern Sierra Scout Office from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3.
On the menu is rosemary chicken, pasta with white sauce, spinach salad, and Pyrenees sourdough rolls.
The dinner for 4 costs $70 but if you want to contribute more, they have tiered sponsorships.
Below is the sponsorship form.
