The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County is so excited to be celebrating their 50th birthday on Tuesday with 62 birthday parties throughout the county with about 7,000 children participating.
All 62 Boys & Girls Club sites will be celebrating in various ways with all Club members kicking off the birthday parties at 4 p.m. by singing “Happy Birthday.”
Birthday party activities will include face painting, arts & crafts, carnival games along with pin the candle on the cake.
On Wednesday, the Boys & Girls Club will also be participating in Give Big Kern to help “Give Kids a Future.”
Three of the Club sites will be open during the birthday party for the community to stop by and see the Club members celebrating 50 years.
