The Bakersfield Youth Fine Arts Academy and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County will be heading on a quest with Donkey and friends in Shrek the Musical.
The cast is made up of 35 kids ranging from 5 to 17 years old. They have been taking voice, dance and acting lessons at the Armstrong Youth Center.
The shows will be Friday, July 6 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 7 at 1 p.m. at the Bakersfield City School District's Education Center at 1300 Baker Street. Tickets are $10.
