BPD: Three suspects rob Kohl's at gunpoint in SW Bakersfield

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying and locating three suspects wanted for robbery and conspiracy.

On April 26, 2017 at 9:59 p.m., officers with the Bakersfield Police Department responded to Kohl’s, located at 5835 Gosford Road, regarding a robbery.

It was determined the three suspects arrived in a vehicle, parked in the parking lot and entered the business through the front doors.

Suspect #1, who was armed with a firearm, began pointing it at employees and customers, while ordering them to get on the ground. Suspect #2 and Suspect #3 went to the jewelry display case, smashed the glass, and removed an undetermined amount of jewelry. All three suspects then exited the business, re-entered the suspect vehicle, and fled southbound in the parking lot.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1: Unknown race male, wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and white shoes

Suspect 2: Unknown race male, tall, medium build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants, black shoes with white soles

Suspect 3: Unknown race male, short in stature, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants, and black shoes

The suspect vehicle is described as a:

Newer model sedan, possibly a Nissan Sentra, silver in color, no license plates
